This is an overdue update. I kind of don't even feel like updating, but I want do to so for the good of DreamingSoda! I really want this site to make the world a better place...or..cure cancer..or something. No, actually, I just want to post pictures:

Well, that paper WAS bright. It was all drawn with highlights and pens. This was drawn sometime in August, I think. Or September. Whenever I went to Salem with Julie and Chris. Because I drew this for Julie since she got badly sunburned while whalewatching.

Hello, fellow humans. This is Nicole, finally making an update as opposed to Julie. The above image is a thing I drew. A thing. It's a tree in some clouds. Julie has dubbed it the Tree of Life. I dub it "squiggly tree thing in some clouds that was hard to draw and conceal simultaneously due to the fact that my coworkers were near me and I didn't want them to see me slacking off"




I like drawing. I like slacking off. I like doing some work and then ignoring most of it. I hope my boss/co-workers/etc never find this blog. Ever.
During work, I zoned out and stared at a map one day. I realized that the shapes of the states turned into other things, like clouds on a clear day.


For instance, Louisiana is a hungry state:

Thanksgiving Syndrome!

Space turkeys are evil... For our thanksgiving of joy three of us attended, Chrissippoo, Myself (Julie) and Nicole! We made a lot of food and almost died from space turkey bacteria! I haven't gotten much accomplished and I'm not sure if I'll be able to in the near future considering holiday shopping is in full swing starting today! To keep this updated though, thankfully Nicole doodles like mad (Nicole EDIT: in other words, greatly shirking my responsibilities at work...) and thus we have wonders to behold! (Nicole EDIT: Er...I feel it necessary to mention that I do realize I misspelled the word "wattle" in my drawing. So shoot me. Thanks.)

So young, so innocent... must.. resist.. molesting it...

I scanned them in reverse order by accident... Yay for upside down dyslexia! (Nicole EDIT: That has been fixed! Yay for fixed! I edited the picture to make it easier to read. I did want to keep the "doodled at work with a pen" feel to it, though, so I didn't completely clean it up.)

Happy day after thanksgiving!

Everyone loves Joseff and I'm sure you've been waiting to see what the hell he actually is! Originally he frightened the heck out of me, kinda looks like a disembodyed head with dog legs, but over time I realized he was his own species and not part peoples. Also... He cant speek it seems. Sadly he tends to get kicked by small children alot because hes round.

INCOMING GAME TRANSMISSION!

It seems that there are reports of a new flower heading this way. It started off small but has grown substantially in record time! Its a SunFlower! What this massive creature wants with our planet is yet unknown but there are rumors that PetalFaces everywhere are acting strange. We hope to bring you further news as we find out what the PetalFaces are preparing for... either war, or peace... maybe both! Either way our planet hangs in the balance!

Like Petalface they start off innocently but soon...

It grows massive! Floating through space, devouring planets... and getting stress wrinkles due to constipation!

Crafts! Yay!

Yesterday was productive, I actually finished two things! I finished the cat plushie I've been working on a little bit once in a while. Here he is!

Since he's the first he has a few quirks, like his head can't stay up without that scarf... and he kinda has a cute cancerous lump on his back...

His name is Sam! He has no bio yet but I really want to make him one. I'll see what I can do at work on breaks. Now this is a Heartnookle! That's not his name, that's his species!

Now I shall showcase happy things I have made within the past few months!

This is TOAST! No he doesn't have a drug addiction.

While Nicole was painting the large Petalface I was creating him as a necklace.

I actually don't have this any longer, it was sold at Otakon for $15!
